Last week Dr. Fitzgerald and Mr. de Oliveira attended the Middle College National Consortium Winter Leadership Conference. They had a chance to participate in a variety of learning sessions around building inclusive learning communities and connecting with over 25 middle college high schools around the country. Mr. de Oliveira presented several roundtables on his classroom project "Creating a Mobile App For Your Town!" He did an excellent job showcasing a project from Great Path and demonstrating learning that is taking place at our school. A special thank you to Mr. de Oliveira for his presentation and engagement connecting with middle college high school teachers and staff around the country. GPA is glad to be a part of this robust organization.

Congratulations to the Class of 2024 Salutatorian - Carina Chapps! She will be heading to the University of Connecticut in the fall. She shared these wonderful words at graduation with the Class of 2024, "As we look ahead toward the future, I encourage all of us to embrace what lies ahead with the same courage and determination that got us through these past four years. Everyone on this stage has the potential and ability to achieve great things in life. I am proud of each and every one of you, and I know your parents, siblings, friends, and those we’ve lost along the way who are watching over us, also share that pride. Congratulations, Class of 2024!"

Congratulations to GPA's Valedictorian, Murthida Salaou who will be attending Miami University in the Fall. Murthida shared inspiring words to her classmates to close out their chapter together and look toward the future. She said, "The challenges we have faced these past four years have taught us how to persevere and adapt as young adults. And now, as we enter this new chapter of our lives, I want to remind the class of 2024 that we possess resilience and the ability to embrace change. So whatever your next steps may be, whether that be college, trade school, or chasing dreams of being business owners and entrepreneurs, embrace the uncertainty that is the future." Congratulations Murthida on all of your accomplishments and best of luck!
