We are pleased to announce that the December's 'Students of the Month' are:
PROFESSIONAL: Marina Marcano "Marina was so helpful with setting up the Homecoming Dance. She stayed after and made sure everything was set up that she could do before leaving. She is also constantly respectful and professional in class." (nominated by Ms. Garman)
OPPORTUNITIES: Alex Diaz "Alex is a hard worker. He asks questions when needed and is helpful to other students. He also seeks opportunities in school to improve his learning experience." (nominated by Ms. Rothfuss)
WORK-ETHIC: Bohdan Pidlisnyy "Bohdan works very hard in class. I never have to remind him to stay on task or get off a game. He gets right to work when it's time. He stays focused and is a wonderful student." (nominated by Ms. Rothfuss) *winner by tie-breaker
EMPOWERMENT: Soleinie Espinosa "Soleinie has been working really hard to do well. She has been putting in her best effort and asks for help when needed. She has shown a lot of improvement in the past couple of months. Way to go, Soleinie!" (nominated by Ms. Pokorny and Ms. Gannon)
RESPECT & RESPONSIBILITY: Destiny Parker "Destiny is a hardworking student who treats everyone with respect. She takes responsibility and is motivated to do well in her classes." (nominated by Ms. Carta)
Each of these award winners will be presented with a 'Student of the Month' certificate (provided to their nominating teacher), their photo and accomplishment on the Pathways media wall, and their name listed on the bulletin board outside of room 330.
